Anti-cholesterol Diet

High cholesterol is considered a risk factor for cardiovascular and neurological diseases. You can fight with medication and diet. Here is a diet that helps lower bad cholesterol (LDL cholesterol) and lose weight.

Cholesterol is the main source and the body itself as a second source to food. It must take into account the lipid profile to determine the type of dyslipidemia and what diet to follow.

You should drink at least a half liter of mineral water, you can add tea, mate, coffee descafinado, up to 4 times a day.

 

Breakfast and lunch

Alternative 1
A glass of skim milk or it can be decaffeinated coffee, tea, or other like mate infusion (infusion typical of Uruguay and Argentina) with milk.
Two slices of bread spread with cream cheese or jam diet.

Alternative 2
Fresh juice (preferably grape)
Fresh Fruits
A low fat yogurt (nonfat) or light

Alternative 3
Decaffeinated Coffee
A yogurt with cereal (not recommended for people with high triglycerides)

Lunch
Alternative 1
Vegetable soup
Veal lean with lettuce, tomato and onion, or use a combination of vegetables to your taste.

Alternative 2
Mashed potatoes (potatoes).
Fish with grated carrots, or squash.

Alternative 3
Lentils prepared with pepper and carrot
Chicken cooked with pepper and tomato
A low-fat yogurt

Alternative 4
Vegetable Soup
Roasted Fish

Alternative 5
Aubergines taste
fish fillet to your liking

Alternative 6
integral Spaghetti (preferred), or other tomato sauce, do not add Parmesan cheese.
Grilled turkey breast (turkey), grilled, with tomato and radicchio, and spinach.

Alternative 7
salad with peppers, tomato and onion
hake or other fish baked or grilled

Alternative 8
Vegetable Soup
Breaded a lean cut, baked, or fried with little oil and is preferably olive or canola oil.
A low-fat yogurt

Dinner
Alternative 1
Natural Tomato stuffed with tuna (tuna)
fish with tomato

Alternative 2
boiled spinach.
Soufle pumpkin (squash tread, 2 beaten egg whites and baked), salad of lettuce and tomato.

Alternative 3
Vegetable Soup
Chicken with mashed potatoes (potatoes)

Alternative 4
asparagus to taste
Brown rice with seafood

Alternative 5
chard tart
with onions Fish

Alternative 6
Beans (green beans, peas), potatoes (potatoes) boiled
A small portion of pasta or 2 slices of pizza without cheese.
Tea

Alternative 7
Corn (maize) Boiled
Chicken with salad

Alternative 8
asparagus boiled, or sautéed.
Fish cooked to your liking
