Baked Anchovies

There’s no argument that blue fish is an important source of nutrient and must be part of our diet. It is also one of the cheapest foods available, but very often we cook it the wrong way, and end up losing all nutritional value.

We, therefore, propose a light recipe that tastes delicious and inviting: Baked Anchovies.

Ingredients:

  • 800 grams of fresh anchovies
  • a clove of garlic
  • a glass of white wine vinegar
  • two pinches of oregano
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • five tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • four slices of medium sized bread

Method: Clean the anchovies. Mix the white wine vinegar with four tablespoons of oil, two generous pinches of oregano, a pinch of salt, and black pepper. Take the anchovies and put them on an oiled baking pan and pour the mixed vinegar over. Bake the anchovies in a pre-heated oven at 180 degree C. It will be ready when the anchovies turn white. Take the bread and make a sandwich using this baked anchovies!
