Detox Diet: 3 Days to Regain Your Shape

There are times when we forget that we binge, especially during the holidays. So if you’re already aware that you’ve put on some extra pounds, then you should try the detox diet. This detox diet can be put into practice three days before or after a great feast. This diet concentrates on fruits and vegetables, and other foods that contain lots of antioxidants.

The 3-day diet of detoxification provides a breakfast with:

  • semi-skimmed milk
  • 40 g of toasted bread
  • two teaspoons of honey or jam
  • a snack with an apple or a pear

For lunch:

  • frozen fish (if raw 220/250 g gross)
  • side dish of broccoli, endive, carrots, and fennel
  • salad (250 g net weight for all vegetables, net weight 200 g for carrots) topped with two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

For snack:

  • yogurt with fruit even with semi-skimmed milk

For dinner:

  • 150 g of meat from a choice of beef, chicken, turkey or rabbit
  • side dish of spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, mixed salad (250 g net weight for all vegetables) using two teaspoons of seasoning, olive oil
  • 40 g of toasted bread
  • orange or a kiwi
