Foods to Reduce Inflammation

Although it sounds a bit odd, there are foods that can help reduce or prevent inflammation , and also others that are counterproductive in this regard. Involving inflammation and redness swelling in the affected area are generally produced by infections. They are annoying and painful, thus, altering our moods and hinder our daily activities.

Perhaps these eating tips will help ward off inflammation.

– Avoid junk food, sausages and processed meats, red meat and high-fat foods, flour and sugar. All these components can cause irritation in your body.

– Some people suffer irritation if they ingested potatoes, tomatoes or eggplant.

РEat foods that help prevent inflammation. Include  freshwater fish, flax seeds and pumpkin seeds and canola oil (rich in omega 3) in your menu.

– Eat more fruits and vegetables as they are rich in vitamins, minerals, fiber, antioxidants and phytochemicals. They can help prevent infection and inflammation.

– Proteins contained in meat, poultry, fish and shellfish can be inflammatory.

– Drink enough water every day. Water is a source of health, as it helps strengthen all your body functions.
