Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but sometimes, this is also the most neglected. We get up on time, irritable and in a hurry to get to work, or may be hurry for school or take our children to school. Sometimes, we forget to take even a few minutes for breakfast.

When you see these ideas for delicious and healthy breakfasts, you will see that the whole family will rise a little earlier and will be eager to grab their first meals for the day.

Smoothie. The smoothie is a very good option to start the day. You will not need too much work for this. You will just need a blender, low fat milk, frozen fruit juice and ice.

Powerful Yogurt. Vary your drinking yogurt. Serve low-fat yogurt in a cup of ice cream and add a layer of granola and fresh fruit. It will be very tempting and tasty. Moreover, it will be engaging for children.

Healthy Sandwich. Make your own sandwich with whole grain bread, lettuce, tomato and low fat cheese.

Oatmeal with fruit. Oatmeal is very healthy, but can be boring eating alone. So, add fresh fruits to accompany it.

Granola Bars. A great way to incorporate fiber in our diets is through granola bars, along with a banana and a glass of skim milk.
