Reading the title of this post, you have probably must be nodding in disbelief. The information was published a few days ago in one of the blogs of the New York Times, and refers to a study published in the journal Community Dentistry and Oral Epidemiology conducted by researchers at the Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester.

Analyzing data from 18,000 children who participated in the survey National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, researchers were able to determine that the highest proportion of healthy teeth in children appeared rather overweight, while cavities appeared the most in normal-weight children.

These results open a field of questions in relation to foods consumed by children with normal weight and those who are overweight or obese.
