Vegetable Smoothies: That’s why they do well

This article draws attention to University of Memphis’ graduate, Kim Caldwell. Her book entitled, ” How Green Smoothies Changed My Life ” shows how her life changed completely by drinking green smoothies.

The book contains information about foods that can change and improve our inner balance. Foods such as fruit, vegetables, sprouted wheat tortillas, Manna bread, pecans, walnuts, almond butter, salmon, tea and stevia.

According to the author, drinking green smoothies preferably on an empty stomach, greatly helps our body. The author emphasizes how chlorophyll in foods help our body. The green smoothies are able to make chlorophyll course to our body. By doing so, it helps cleanse the blood and prevents us from diseases.

The author then recommends the consumption of tea, as it has a high content of antioxidants that speed up the metabolism. Recommended teas are green tea, and black tea or oolong. Let us not forget, however, the power of exercise. Exercise helps relieve depression, resulting a different state of mind and a positive attitude towards life.
