Properties of peppers: Peppers have high water content, but have less carbohydrates and vegetable proteins. They are filled with good fibers, especially in the outer part. They are also very rich in Vitamin C and have antioxidant properties. Various studies have shown that peppers may also have anti-tumor component.

Properties of capers – We give too little importance to capers in our kitchens. Actually, capers have glycosidic flavonoids that helps protect the skin. They also have have anti-inflammatory properties.

  • 500 g of flour
  • 1 cube of 25 g of yeast
  • A tablespoon of oil
  • Water
  • 100 Grams of mozzarella
  • 50 G of cream cheese
  • A handful of capers
  • Salt

Mix flour with salt, yeast dissolved in water and oil. Add water until the dough does not work well with your hands. Meanwhile, wash the peppers and cut sideways. Put in a high pan with a teaspoon of olive oil, pepper, and cover. Bake for 20 minutes, add the capers and a little bit of salt (because the capers are already salty).

When the dough has almost doubled its size, spread and shape into the tray. Allow to rise for another half hour and then spread the cream cheese and mozzarella. Add the finely chopped peperonni with capers. Bake for 30 min at 180° C.

Enjoy it hot!
